rebekahELLE, one of our classroom rules is: Keep you hands, feet and mouth to yourself. I have a self contained classroom, we have to be spacific about our rules. I with you there about writing down some of the funny things my students have said. If only they had been written down, what a book that would have made.

I like the one about reading and thanking a teacher until she gets an unlisted number. And I must say for all the years I've been a teacher - other than the years of genteel poverty I must say, the kids always made me laugh because children are just naturally darn hilarious.
It's a profession where you can lose your mind - and never have the time to know it. The only way to tell is if you start wearing the same clothes every day. Whew!

thanx god that i have definitely choose the best path in life...my students are my great inspirations, esp with their ignorance, naive looking face, and grin..they like it when i do mistakes..and they correct me,..we learn together
