Actually this law was written to protect animals riding in the bed of a truck. Accoring to the law the pet needs to be in a secured cage in the manner that the animal will not be thrown from tne vehicle, fall out of it, or be able to jump from the vehicle.
- A moose may not be viewed from an airplane.
- It is illegal to whisper in someone's ear while they are moose hunting.

This gave me a laugh; especially the flamingos one. Why are there flamingo-owners in Alaska in the first place, and why prohibit JUST flamingos from the Barber shop? "Uh, yes Sir, you can bring the crocodile, but that bird's going to have to stay outside!"
Very funny stuff. Thanks for the hub...You should keep these up, like pddm said.
oh well it seems you will all be quite safe there then
Lots of vital moose information. I like being informed. Thanks so much. I'll have to stay here in NYC with my moose (or moosi) and flamingoes (or flamingi). I don't want any trouble.
This is fun - I'm reading all your 'crazy law' hubs!
I live in Alaska and I get my dogs groomed all the time and it is not illegal.

Love these hubs you do about weird laws in the different states. If I ever make it to Alaska and are up in an airplane and see a moose...I will QUICKLY shield my eyes from such a sight! Haha! Cute hub. I have no idea why a moose would be in an airplane either :-) You should keep up the trend. What will the next city be? Rock on!
