  • Understand the meaning of character. It is the ethical and moral strength of an individual along with the attributes and abilities that coorespond to life choices.
  • Select a set of principles and rules that you will abide by for the rest of your life.
  • Determine if a principle will be effective for your personal growth and character.
  • Try to build a character based on your won personal beliefs and opinions.
  • Find a role model.
  • Understand it takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Beautifully said! Character is something that was once highly valued that has fallen by the boards lately. Thank you for shining a deserving spotlight on it. I was going to name a couple of the "character quotes" above as my favorites but too many of them are superb. Great Hub!

Thank you James. I see too many children and their parents who are woefully lacking in good character traits. I try to teach the class about these traits and why they are a good idea for them to help their future.
