KoffeeKlatch Gals
I am a wife, mother and grandmother, which is all very rewarding. I spend my days during the school year working with Intellectually Disabled middle school children in a self-contained class. When I'm not doing that I am writing, crafting, and designing and selling jewelry. Writing is my first love, always has been , always will be (after my family, of course). However crafting and designing jewelry run a close second. I do all sorts of crafts, especially crossstitching.
When I first started writing for hubpages I had a friend who was going to do this with me. I did not have enough confidence in myself to feel I could do this alone. As time went by I began to realize that I was the only one writing. It was then that I realized that I could do this on my own. My friend, who claims she knew this all along, had only agreed to do this so I would. She thought I would become hooked once I started getting involved. She was absolutely right and I will always be grateful for that gentle shove.
I am interested in so many things that I had a problem settling down to one area. I decided that there was absolutely no reason to have settle. So I write about anything that catches my interest. And I am having a ball.
